Signs of Insulin Resistance:

Insulin resistance may not always present noticeable symptoms in its early stages. However, as it progresses, individuals may experience the following signs:

1. Increased Hunger: Frequent and intense hunger, even after eating.
2. Fatigue: Feeling tired or lacking energy throughout the day.
3. Weight Gain: Especially around the abdominal area.
4. High Blood Pressure: Elevated blood pressure levels.
5. High Blood Sugar: Elevated fasting blood sugar levels.
6. Skin Issues: Such as dark patches on the neck and other areas
                               (acanthosis nigricans).
7. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): Irregular menstrual cycles
    and hormonal imbalances in women.
8. Sleep Problems: Such as sleep apnea or difficulty falling asleep.
9. Frequent Urination: Increased need to urinate, especially at night.
10. Increased Thirst: Feeling excessively thirsty.
11. Poor Wound Healing: Cuts and sores take longer to heal.

Note:

Not everyone with insulin resistance will experience all these signs, and some individuals may remain asymptomatic. If you suspect insulin resistance, it’s important to consult a healthcare provider for proper evaluation and management. Early detection and lifestyle changes can help prevent complications.
